(Routes 137, 35, 123) - In New Canaan, CT. start this drive by taking exit 35 off the Merritt Parkway and head north on Route 137. 137 crosses over into New York state and eventually ends at the intersection of Route 121. Take a right onto 121 and head up to the town of Cross River, NY.

At Cross River is the junction of Rts. 121 & 35. Take a right onto 35 and you'll head back towards to Connecticut in the direction of the town of Ridgefield. Just before the Connecticut border is Route 123. Take a right onto 123 and it will take you back to the Merritt Parkway in Norwalk just a few exits up from where your scenic loop began.

You can also bypass Route 123 to Norwalk and opt to stay on Route 35 and head over to Ridgefield center for a bite to eat or siteseeing. From Ridgefield center you would then take Route 33 south out of Ridgefield which will lead you back to the Merritt Parkway.
